hi Mel this is in the historic country goldrush town of Bendigo north-west of Melbourne. There were a lot of rich people there due to the goldrush so there are many gorgeous buildings still existing from the 1850s which is pretty old for Australia:)
I hadn't thought of that but you are right. It does look a bit like smoke. We are hoping for the weather to cool down soon. It is still like summer weather.
