A - Z Guidebook: Umbrellas

This is what comes of looking up in a shopping arcade in Melbourne CBD.  Mr P. and I were down south a couple of years ago to attend our niece's wedding.  We stayed in town for a few nights to go to the Gallery, Museum and so on.  And oh the shopping! The stores!  The clothes!  The food!  The people watching!  Well, you get the drift.  And in one of the arcades was this wondrous display of umbrellas; something you often need on a Melbourne day.  It is after all known as the city which has 4 seasons in 1 day!

    What a creative display, we could use some of those umbrellas here in Northern California with all the rain we have. I also like visiting Museums and art galleries in large cities and do things like people watching, shopping and finding good food. I am sorry I didn't visit me niece when she was in Melbourne for one year.

    How cool! Unfortunately, never saw an umbrella display when we lived in Melbourne. Still a fun photo in a fun city. ;)

    I searched in vain for an umbrella photo to contribute but alas, had non. Perhaps it's because I always take the weather with me... I am back from holidays and am enjoying reading through your contributions. Thanks for joining in.
