    1. Hi Sarah
      A very interesting room. It belonged to a famous Australian artist called Margaret Olley. When she died the entire room full of belongings was transported to Tweed Art Gallery in northern New South Wales and put back exactly as she had it. It is a marvellous space.

    1. Oh it is phoebe. There is another room too called the Yellow Room and her kitchen is set up exactly the same as she had it. It is a wonderful space.

    1. it is fascinating to see how an artist lived. she used to give dinner parties in her tiny kitchen full of stuff. lord knows how she managed to do it!

  8. I thought it was an antique shop and was dying for a good old rummage. I'm guessing most of that is fabulous still life props :)

    1. there are endless flowers and vases and palettes and paints( and cigarette butts!) and ceramics and and....like a Victorian sitting room!

      definitely worth a visit. the Gallery is quite famous these days. It sits on a ridge overlooking the river and hills in the background. The view never disappoints, and the exhibitions are usually wonderful.
