      it is a local cafe set in a historic building. they have done up the building and it is very pretty.

    1. you are right sarah. in a lovely old cafe, tho we do have plaster ceilings at home with lovely decorated panels. i should put up a photo of my own ceilings:)

  11. Oh I love that ceiling rose, how beautifully decorated.
    We had a beautiful on in our last house but over ever dared to paint in white. I wish now we had been slightly braver!

    1. we have panels in our plaster ceilings at home that i would love to paint in different colours but so time consuming and/or expensive so they are just cream all over. one day...

  12. Mrs Pickings is really good at noticing architectural details. Usually ceiling items in restaurants! Mr Pickings likes having to go to these places . . .
