I think this is Captain Cook, surrounded by tiny little security guards on the wall..  

This is part of an exhibition by NZ artist Michael Parekowhai; full of strange and wondrous sculptures and installations.

      not sure about the guards. he just has heaps of them on the wall. the sculpture is called the English Channel for some reason.:)

    Wow amazing detail! Ripples on clothes are always hard to do and yet in here the flow of that cape is graceful! Lovely work. #mysundayphoto
