    1. it is funny jaime. yarn bombing is very popular in winter! this statue gets adorned every year for the jazz and jumper festival in july in warwick 2 hours west of brisbane.

    1. well for brisbane it is a bit cold. this fella is in warwick 2 hours west of here and it gets pretty darn chilly there so even the statues need a scarf:)

    1. i just love it. we went to warwick yesterday for the festival and all the trees down the main street were also adorned with woollen things.

      the council actually uses a cherry picker to get up and do this as it is part of the july festival in warwick. so much fun!

      we call it yarn bombing. there are groups of ladies who go around decorating trees and things illegally. what an adventure tho this particular statue is decorated by the council.
